They said that Martin Luther was crazy for questioning the mighty Roman Catholic Church. They said that Rosa Parks was crazy for refusing to comply with a racist culture. They said that Louis Pasteur was crazy for teaching that diseases are spread by germs. But it was the critics who turned out to be the crazy ones.
It was the masses, holding on as they were to an erroneous status quo, who eventually had to eat crow. No one remembers them, but we do remember the names of those who pushed for change. I may not be a hero of the caliber of Luther or Parks or Pasteur, but I do see a need for change. That's why I'm going to be teaching classes about the lost and suppressed scriptures that most Christians have never been given the chance to explore. We've been kept in the dark by past generations who thought they knew what was best for us. Maybe they meant well, but the question is, were they right to reject scrolls like 1 Enoch, 2 Baruch and 4 Ezra?
