The world we live in today often demands that we schedule our work lives months in advance. That's a headache for those of us who try to obey YHVH Elohiym by resting from work on his annual holy days (Hebrew: mo'ediym). There are three high Sabbaths during the spring each year, and they occur at very specific intervals starting from the biblical new year (Abib/Nisan 1). The problem is that we can't know for certain when the biblical year will begin until it the moment that it does. Nevertheless, a list of the most likely high Sabbath dates is indispensable so long as we live in spiritual Egypt. The reality is that many of us are beholden to employers who require advanced notice of time off.
The following list of dates is only an estimate, due to the fact that Elohiym's calendar is based on the observation of agricultural and lunar conditions. If the barley has not become abib by the time the sliver of the new moon is spotted on or about March 18, then each of the estimated dates must be pushed back until the next sliver is sighted.
Where is the United States in Bible prophecy? It's a question that I've heard or read countless times, and it's a very valid one. After all, the U.S.A. is one of the most powerful and influential nations to ever exist. If we're as close to the end of the age as many prophecy experts claim (myself included), then shouldn't the ol' Red, White, and Blue show up in prophetic passages? Similarly, shouldn't we expect to find descriptions of other superpowers, like Russia? Yes, we certainly should. So where are they?
Amazingly, the nations of Great Britain, Russia, and America were all revealed to the prophets of YHVH thousands of years ago. They also saw powerful coalitions that haven't yet formed. By the time you finish reading this post, you'll have a very good idea of what's going to transpire on the international scale between now and the return of Messiah.
I try not to be closed off to civilized debate about my interpretation of Scripture. It's foolish not to consider other people's opinions, and it's arrogant to imagine that one has perfect biblical insight. Thus I like to remain teachable and willing to entertain challenges.
I've had many people, including a close family member, disagree with me about the timing of the Rapture (a.k.a the Resurrection). Some have taken a soft approach when trying to convince me that the Rapture will happen before a supposed seven-year tribulation, and some have treated me like I must be some kind of moron. But none of them have ever rendered up a cogent argument from Scripture. I've stayed open-minded, and I've listened carefully, but I have not been swayed. For every one verse that might hint at a pre-Trib Rapture, there are three or four verses that unambiguously contradict it.
If you've been pulled aboard the "Rapture Ready" bandwagon, you might want to consider these ten points of contention before you install that Rapture hatch in your crib.
How long have we been here, and how long will we remain? Is there any way to know for certain? If you have an inquisitive mind like I do, then you've probably pondered these questions and looked to so-called scientific experts for input.
Secular scientists would have us believe that human beings in their current biological form have been on earth for hundreds of thousands of years, living as uncivilized brutes for most of that time. But the Bible paints a much different picture. According to Scripture, men didn't evolve from primates (though we sometimes behave as if we did), but rather burst onto the scene in a moment, at the culmination of period of divine creation of God-only-knows what length, after all of the other creatures had been crafted. And our collective story is not yet very long. The Bible teaches that human history is unfolding along a timeline of only 7,000 years, with the last thousand years comprising the Messianic kingdom to be installed upon Messiah's return.
Although many Christians today are totally ignorant of this timeline, the 7,000-year plan of God is a doctrine which was widely accepted by the early church. The fulcrum of the doctrine is one verse in a psalm of Moses, which states that “a thousand years in [God's] sight are but as yesterday when it is past, or as a watch in the night” (Psa. 90:4, ESV). The apostle Peter reiterated this concept in his second epistle, warning us not to ignore the fact that “with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day” (3:8, ESV). Many Christian leaders have glossed over this, teaching their flocks that these verses merely indicate that God views time differently than we do. True as that may be, it doesn't address the specificity of the verses. How many of us have taken Peter's warning seriously and used it as a key to understanding God's eschatological plans?
Evidently early disciples did heed his words, but we've since lost that wisdom.

8 Keys to Personal Moral Excellence While LIving in Spiritual Egypt
"Y'shua told him, 'Whoever has already bathed needs only to wash his feet, and he will be completely clean'" (John 13:10).
Those who have repented and been baptized into Messiah's name have been made spiritually clean. Yet, as with the disciples' feet that Y'shua washed, the part of ourselves that contacts the earth—our fleshly or material man—must be subjected to the spirit and purified. This life-changing eBook, provided at no cost, aims to help believers live beyond reproach in a morally bankrupt world.
